EFTF 2024 will be held at the University of Neuchâtel, in the beautiful lakeside city of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Neuchâtel in brief…
The picturesque lakeside town Neuchâtel is steeped in history, having celebrated its first millennium of existence in 2011. The city’s link to Swiss technology is unquestioned, being located at the heart of the Swiss Watchmaking industry and all of its major players. The EFTF in particular has well-established roots in the city, having been hosted in Neuchâtel 6 times previously.
Access from abroad
You can easily arrive by public transportation.
MAIN TRAIN STATION
Please see the Google map below for the best walking route from the Neuchâtel main station. If you are in doubt, look for the Red Church and/or the Maladière football stadium and its lighting towers. The venue is directly to the south of the stadium (lakeside). This route takes about 10-15 minutes on foot (mostly downhill).
Alternatively, instead of walking down the hill, you can take the funiculaire/tram, which departs every 5 minutes from the lower level inside the main train station, arriving at University of Neuchâtel campus. When exiting the Funiculare, take the underground exit (lakeside) and then go left (east). The walk from the Funiculaire exit to the EFTF venue is about 5 minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: The Funiculaire is NOT covered by CFF/SBB option “City-Ticket Neuchâtel”. You will have to purchase a ticket at an automated ticket kiosk before embarking (located directly at the entrance of the funiculaire).
BUS FROM DOWNTOWN NEUCHATEL
The bus line 121 departs regularly from Place Pury (downtown, central hub) and arrives at the UNIVERSITY stop in 4 minutes. From there walk behind the Red Church towards lakeside to Espace Tilo-Frey 1.
ARRIVAL BY CAR
Underground, paid parking is available at the Maladière Shopping Center, located under the Maladière Football stadium, just a 3 minute walk from the EFTF venue. You must pay for parking using a ticket / automat system. The parking entrance is well indicated, just to the east of the football stadium. Once you have parked your car, take the exit on the lake side (Quai Robert-Comptesse).
The highway exit from both directions is MALADIERE. Please see the map below for venue access form this exit (red line, which leads to the underground parking entrance).
PARKING HINT: Park your car near the exit you will need to take on foot >> SORTIE SUD, QUAI ROBERT COMTESSE. Take the elevator or walk to to NIVEAU 0 (Quai Robert Comtesse / bord du lac).
Other parking options
There is also other parking options in close proximity to the EFTF venue. Both of these options are less expensive if you plan on leaving your car for overnight / several days.
